Team "Neuroendocrinologie Moléculaire de la Reproduction"

Leader : Hugues Dardente
Our team performs basic research into the neuroendocrine mechanisms of reproduction in mammals. We also have an interest in using such knowledge to devise novel tools aimed at a better control of reproduction in small ruminants such as sheep and goats.

I am currently developing in vitro models aimed at deciphering the molecular mechanisms by which various hormones affect cell differentiation/plasticity and the functioning of peptidergic neurons.
Working on projects related to programmed genetic plasticity of neurons.
My aim is to develop tools for controlling reproduction in small ruminants by focusing on the physiological players involved in central control of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis.

My scientific project focuses on the creation of kisspeptin analogues for ovulation control in domestic animals.
Didier_Lomet
Specialized in cell culture and animal experimentation, I collaborate on the creation of kisspeptin analogues in applied research for the control of ovulation in domestic animals, as well as in fundamental research on the study of the kisspeptin receptor.
